I am creating porn down here in the ass end of the planet (New Zealand), and need a bit of mentoring.

Specifically, I am looking for an unedited scene which I can use to learn how one is put together in post. Does anyone have - or know where I can find - some unedited footage, which contains shot changes, performers moving into position, the director giving instructions, et al?

I want to compare it to the finished version, to learn how to bridge my production and postproduction.

I Wrote a serious reply, then reread your post and realised I misunderstood...

I'm serious :)

walk down the street filming what ever is in front of you. Stop film and find a single object that interests you. Film that object for 30 seconds. stop film. The break is called a transition scene. Continue walking and resume filming your walk.

When done.. take the first walk and edit to a point, use the transition scene to smoothly flow into the 2nd part of your walk.

Rinse, wash and repeat until you have a full length video.

When you can get from scene 1 into scene 2 smoothly with no WTF's using the transition scene you will be better than 90% of the current shooters/editors.

But as of now, you owe me three yrs worth of film school tuition, please tell me where to send the invoice. You may not use my super awesome method until you pay me.

For an additional payment of the 4th yr of tuition, I will advise you on what objects should be blurred to avoid legal copyright issues.

directors should also be nude in giving instructions.

Is there any information about how to block a scene, and align the blocking with those transitions?
