Why Van Halen never did a rendition of this song I'll never know.

Leadbelly, what a crazy life... a life breathed into his music...

Capturing the craziness of relationships, hate to love, love to hate, mad mad love, so much range of emotion in such a simple song. So deep. No wonder it is covered by so many.

That Cobain cover is fuckin' EPIC! Personal favorite, the rawness of emotion he was feeling when he it sang it is nothing more then his hurt...

The Boys do a nice cut too :thumbsup

Agree and I am actually not that big of a Nirvana fan. They were good. Respect them. But I just think they received a disproportionate share of the attention for reasons besides their music but regardless Cobain's rendition I agree is just phenomenal.
