Leadbelly, what a crazy life... a life breathed into his music...

Capturing the craziness of relationships, hate to love, love to hate, mad mad love, so much range of emotion in such a simple song. So deep. No wonder it is covered by so many.

Agree and I am actually not that big of a Nirvana fan. They were good. Respect them. But I just think they received a disproportionate share of the attention for reasons besides their music but regardless Cobain's rendition I agree is just phenomenal.
