Brutal Death Cam video of Dillon Taylor shooting
Body cam video from the cop who shot Dillon.
WARNING! This video is extremely graphic, bloody and disturbing. Listen to the cop at 4:05 say "Come on! What the hell were you reaching for man?." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQYlQpFXCw4 |
Damn,poor kid,what a way to go :(
|
At least he bravely tried to save his life afterwards by lightly dabbing the gaping wound with what looks like a KFC lemon-scented wetnap.
|
After watching the video I have even more questions about the situation:
a) Who posted the video? b) How did he got access to it? c) It seems like the guy was just walking with his walkman so he did not hear any instructions, did he do anything "dangerous" before? d) The other cop ask the killer if he has his camera on, Is this standard procedure to have them on every time they are out? e) Why didn't he shoot him in the legs? he went straight for the body. f) He did not know what to do with the injury body don't they receive some type of first aid or basic preparation to handle those cases? |
They're trained to shoot for the center of mass. In other words, if they have their gun out they intend to kill you, not strategically wound you. Why didn't they tase him? Fucking idiot cop. I hope he rots in prison. Sure the dumb guy with the headphones on should have complied...but I'm guessing he couldn't hear anything with his ipod blaring. Thanks Steve Jobs.

what the fuck is wrong with cops these days?
we are on the verge of a race war |

poor kid, very sad :(
Looks like the kid was confused or just trying to shutoff his phone/mp3 player. For that he got shot. Hell, the cop already had his gun drawn, so what was he fearing? Even if the kid did have a firearm (which he did not) the kid would not have been able to draw his firearm out and fire on the officer in time. |

He shot the kid even without even a glimpse of any weapon the kid might have been holding. |
One more "legal" murder by the police state. Remember that the police are a protected minority in the USA. |
So you can see this kind of murder on YouTube, but you can't see people making love in porn? |

Poor guy, and ruled justified "because (Officer) Cruz reasonably perceived a threat." WTF
|
Wow, good job the cop gets the guy in handcuffs when he is UNCONCIOUS!
Fucking RETARD cop, how that was ever deemed legal is beyond me, that cop needs to be locked up in a concrete box for life. |
I've never had any trouble with the police, because even when they shout at me I remain calm, it works that way with everybody. Granted don't act like a complete sheep but if you cooperate at least you won't make the situation worse.
Interesting how those making comments against the police here have also had run-ins with them frequently. |

You giving head to some pig for inside info? Of course you never had encounters with the police - you live in Iowa for fuck sake! :1orglaugh Move out of the wilderness and perhaps you might think differently about a lot of things. http://33.media.tumblr.com/20b5fbd49...xqqio1_500.gif |

This kid was murdered plain and simple, deadly force was way out of line in this scenario. |
Fuck the police
|
"He's not conscious, he's not breathing"
Better keep him in those handcuffs till the ambulance comes, just in case he comes to and does something life threatening. |

I've got no desire to watch a murder so didn't play the video, from what I gather the kid didn't hear instructions? Just wondering how that plays out for someone who is deaf - they just get to take a bullet, or what?

That's the dumbest fucking argument in the world. The public has a need to know what happened in this shooting. Nobody needs to know that you dug in some whore's pussy for 10 minutes with her permission. :helpme |
This is what happens when you have a militarized police force full of ex mercenaries on steroids.
|
And where are the protests???? Unfortunately the race-baiters have set things up so that these things only get national coverage when the victim is black. There should be outrage all over the country over this incident, and the fact that there won't even be TRIAL!!!
:( . |

Like I posted earlier, an interesting read about the case which is already over ..... Quote:

You are complaining about being too lazy to express outrage and somehow that's black peoples fault. Of course you don't consider this thread to be coverage of what happened. I'm ignoring what happened by making a fucking thread about it right? You're working that bitch, moan and whine magic where it's someone else's fault that you are apathetic about police killing people. Truth is that you only whine when the victim is white. :helpme |

You obviously have absolutely no idea whatsoever how I spend my time, what causes I work for, and what my attitudes are about police abuse. Your apparent belief that you know these things, from posts I make on a board that I log into about 3 times a month, (which do NOT even support your assertion as to how I feel about ANYONE being killed by police), indicate that you are either an idiot or a troll. There is no way for me to know which. . |

The cops ..... "On Aug. 11, Salt Lake police were called to a report of a possible man with a gun near 2100 South and State Street. A witness claimed three men were flashing a gun in the area." So the cops arrive already hyped and adrenaline spiking because they are driving to a GUN call. "Cruz was in the area and arrived first. He spotted the three men based on the witness description and observed their actions. As they went into a 7-Eleven, 2102 S. State, he called for backup and waited for the trio to walk out, believing that at least one of them was armed" Civilian ..... "Taylor had made posts on Facebook in the days leading up to the shooting that indicated he knew he had warrants out for his arrest for a prior burglary, that he was homeless and that he felt his life had "hit rock bottom." "The Utah State Medical Examiner's Office also noted that Taylor had a blood-alcohol content of 0.18 at the time of the shooting, more than twice the legal limit for driving" And he knows he's going to jail. So ........ So now you have cops showing up to a 911 call of 3 armed men, you have a felon with warrants who is drunk wearing head phones and refusing to stop because he knows he's going to jail. You have a cop who has reason to believe the guy not following instructions has a gun. The guy not following orders goes for his waistband ...... Is the outcome really a surprise? https://www.ksl.com/?sid=31772096 . |
I am starting to be afraid of cops. I was pulled over about a month ago for a minor traffic infraction. As the cop approached the window, I kept my hands at "10 and 2", answered politely, and when she asked for my license, I let her know it was in my pant pocket before reaching for it. I placed my hands back at 10 and 2 and waited for it to be over. You just never know anymore..

So all I have to do is call 911 and lie about someone having a gun and the cops will storm in and shoot them if they make a sudden move? You should remember the fact that there is no gun to be found anywhere. Who called in the lie about a gun? Maybe the 911 caller should be charged with murder, if all the cops do is blindly act on the callers words. |

I'm just pointing out a few things not in your video. "state of mind" being a paramount factor in any shooting. Just once again pointing out "resisting" is a choice. Most of the time a pretty bad one. |

At first glance this seems really bad, but after looking it over, it's not so clear.
The police car arrives with its lights on, and stops right in front of this group of kids. The kid who gets shot tries to nonchalantly walk away and get outta there. He was completely aware of the police being there, so the headphone argument is bunk. Then it looks like he's walking away, but in the stills you can see he's actually facing the officers and walking backwards near the end. Did he deserve to be shot? Probably not. But don't reach into your pocket while ignoring police commands... Counter to that, don't shoot someone until you see a gun. |
