this method won't reveal all your lineage just some but with autosome test u can at least know more about you ancestors .

lets say someone take y-dna test and it turned out he has uncommon haplogroup mutations in that case its possible each company will give different results because they don't have same answer or db to find his best matches .... :2 cents:

They had about 1-2% of my DNA unaccounted for from the markers, that's why I have speculative selected. Otherwise their conservative estimates give me around 98% European. We go back far enough even I share relatives with those creatures in the Baltimore riots. When you cut things off for tens of thousands of years you can get serious changes.
