Jurrasic World sucked balls

Wasn't expecting anything from the movie but holy shit, that was horrific! Even worse than 3 lol.

Trying to think of some good points but none spring to mind. Amazing that nobody at the end of the movie gave a shit that a fucking T-Rex was on the loose :1orglaugh

Considering there was 20,000 visitors to their "World" at the time the death toll was incredibly low. Amazing.

Avoid...

C H R I S 06-11-2015 03:32 PM

As expected... they'll still make 100 million.

sandman! 06-11-2015 03:33 PM

commercials look lame :2 cents::2 cents:

CaptainHowdy 06-11-2015 03:36 PM

Oh no doubt it will be a Box Office smash.

Even the CGI effects don't impresss anymore. If anything it seems a little dated now...

brassmonkey 06-11-2015 05:29 PM

looks like a sci-fi original! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh sucker!!

2MuchMark 06-11-2015 05:33 PM

I have low expectations for this movie too. Will wait for TV.

Spunky 06-11-2015 05:36 PM

I'll wait until it comes on Netflix

PaperstreetWinston 06-11-2015 06:15 PM

If you're not looking for something other than raptors and lots of running, i think you'll get your dollar's worth

How much are cinema tickets in America anyway ?? We pay $15 here...

bronco67 06-12-2015 01:45 AM

Go see Mad Max Fury Road before it leaves theaters. It's the only chance in a decade you'll get to see a real movie by a master filmmaker.

I won't be seeing Jurassic World or many other movies this summer because they've been spoiled by Mad Max.

Alexlecomte 06-12-2015 05:46 AM

Was about to go to check it tonight... Maybe I should reconsider :(

Slick 06-12-2015 07:22 AM

Rotten Tomatoes critics gave it a 71% and the viewers 87%

Mad Max... not so sure; nice explosions and all, of course, I suppose; but turned Mad Max into a side kick and star vehicle for Charlize Theron... boring!

Anyway, why can't they go for some fresh narrative instead of regurgitating always the some plots, so predictable.

Shouldn't complain, though... , am only too aware of the sound economic rationale behind it ;-P

Opposite for me. They had both 3d and 2d showings and the only time that was good for me was for 3d showing. I did not go for this reason. I do not like watching 3d, it sucks.

Same. Think i checked out 2 movies in 3D and for me it just made it a pain in the ass. After 10mins the novelty wears off and you just want to watch it like a normal movie...

So you are claiming that mad max is best movie in 10 years?

pornguy 06-12-2015 07:44 AM

My son wants to see it so we will be going to watch anyway. I can sleep if I feel the need

PR_Glen 06-12-2015 07:50 AM

watching that 'raptor trainer' ride a harley through the jungle with his raptor pack in the trailer is both the coolest and dumbest thing I have ever seen.. if it was a scrambler maybe i'd be on board.. hehe

oh saw san andreas the other day. I was expecting it to be stupid, but even with that it was far worse than i expected.. It's like the natural disaster was chasing them for the whole movie--why do they keep doing that with these??

The worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life is mad Max fury.

They competely missed the mark. :disgust

yes.

it's a movie that goes back to the visual roots of fillmaking, where story and character development are put across through action, editing and music -- as opposed to having every character flap their gums for two hours.

I can see where something that's actually good might not go over well with people who like crap.

just because you can't handle a movie with dialogue doesn't mean everyone else has bad taste. It was good, leave it at that. It's fucking stupid to make it out to be more than that.

Avoid...

as long as the black men are sensitive and loving, the black women snappy and ballsy, the gay guy heroic, the fat white guy a fumbling boob and crybaby loser, the white woman amazing and beautiful in full glamour makeup and the kids precocious the movie will be wonderful!!!!!

RummyBoy 06-14-2015 10:48 AM

i personally didn't watch any but the first. I don't find 2 hrs of one predictable scene after another of people cowering and hiding from teeth and claws and suffering near misses.... with the odd character getting snatched up and eaten to be entertaining.

michael.kickass 06-15-2015 05:54 AM

I think I've seen enough dinosaurs on screen already. :2 cents:

bronco67 06-15-2015 06:02 AM

I don't know....looks like a lot of people are liking it out there. Good overall reviews and while box office is no indication of quality, it did make a half billion dollars in one weekend. And couple of people whose movie opinions I trust thought it was a fun.

Maybe it didn't suck balls.

I'm not saying I don't enjoy some good talky movies too, but people criticizing a movie because it has a simple plot and little dialogue is like criticizing a plane because it flies.

I know no one in this thread complained about the lack of dialogue...it's just something I noticed out there in internet world with all the tards and fringe haters trying to be film critics by saying it has "no story" because no one is explaining the plot.

Fury Road is not the kind of movie you get to see in the theater anymore. It's amazing it even got made without all of the suits changing everything.

Matyko 06-15-2015 11:40 AM

Today I've heard my colleague's review of the movie [he is a movie freak] and however what he told was funny and we had a good laugh really, but based on what he said it was like an Asylum Movie... Will never watch it, disliked the first one already. :pimp

Oh the kids will love it no doubt. My nephew I know for a fact will enjoy it. His dad will need to be the one who takes him though lol.

OldNew Dana 06-15-2015 11:22 PM

I am still gonna see it...

Axeman 06-16-2015 12:57 AM

It wasn't that bad. Campy for sure. Not great, but decent. The ending was pretty bad though, I will say that.

EngineCash 06-16-2015 01:10 AM

I was about to watch it, but now... :)

CaptainHowdy 06-16-2015 07:25 AM

It's only entertainment ...

TrafficTraffickers 06-16-2015 08:07 AM

thanks for the heads up. I was actually debating if I should see it at the movie theater or not

Yeah I was off by a few hundred million - but my point was that it doesnt matter if it is a good movie as people will still go in droves.

Just Alex 06-17-2015 09:21 AM

What sucked balls is sitting next to the cunt screaming "get the fuck out of there" and "what the fuck are you doing" every 2 minutes. Now I remember why I stopped going to movies 10 years ago.

At the end of the movie was he shouting "Umm there's still a fucking T-Rex on the loose why does nobody give a shit?!?!"

Because i know that's what i was thinking... :upsidedow

Black All Through 06-17-2015 11:28 AM

It will still make 500 million worldwide especially in places like Asia with these kind of movies have always triumphed, and among children and young teens that will beg their parents to go and see it no matter what. From the trailers that I have watched the story seems a little cheesy, some critics say that the dinosaurs are not brought perfect lead to profile, but the special effects from that very little I seen is actually pretty good.

However you are not the first that has claimed it was disappointing that I've heard of, so most probably I'm going a wait until it hits red box and spend a dollar for it like I did for middleman, that by the way also sucked balls in my opinion.
