Why can't (some) Whites pronounce "Worcestershire"?

Check out Sen. John McCain when he says 'Washington/Warshington'. He's the absolute worst (and a good example).

I struggle pronouncing Massachusetts. Wouldn't even attempt to pronounce Worcestershire

wuster, or wustershire if you are fancy..

worcester and worcestershire are not the same...

The irony of the warshington thing... Its only people 'from' washington that say it that way.

What's up with the car brands? I've heard most japanese cars are pronounced in a wrong way worldwide..

I'd say the majority of people in UK use the 'Wooster' option and drop the shire completely.
