Pagerank has been abolished by Google in 2013. It's an outdated metric and non-relevant. Welcome to 2015.

yeah, that's right, but if your aged domain with backlinks has n/a GTPR it means that something is wrong with your domain. its backlinks were probably devalued because the domain had no content/site on it for a longer time, and was just parked. my offer still stands.

Old authority sites can be very powerful. Google loves it when huge, old websites become active again. 35k is a bargain for this domain. Google does not devalue links to domains just because they were offline. It's a myth that was proven wrong many times.

Was that one of Twan's domains/sites, or another service, that just vanished one day, along with all of their user's blogs and posts?

Yes, I think it was his biggest site.

anyway, its GTPR is greyed-out which isn't a good sign. I wouldn't pay more than 100 bucks for it. for 35k I can buy a site with decent traffic, content and $5k+ monthly revenue.

Sensualwriter is the best investment to make you 5k profit a month within a short time. For that it is a bargain. It will get around 15k Google hits a day, shortly. PR has never been a factor for serps or SE traffic. Pretty easy math to figure out how much can be made from that. Good luck in finding better sites.

Maybe, currently that domain isn't even indexed in Google.

What's your point? You don't want to buy it .... ok.
As much as you argue, I won't sell for buck less than 35k.
... you are wasting your time.

Nice, you probably paid a few 100 on drop auction now you want 35k. To be fair it's a nice domain with good in-links from before so it's probably worth around ~$500

It's worth what people can make of it.

Some people have the skills to turn a piece of silk into a great dress, others use it to wipe dust. In this analogy I am selling the silk and a buyer will need to recognize its quality to become a dress.

3xmedia 06-17-2015 10:00 AM

just develop it and let me know when it makes at least $5k/month - I'll buy it for $35k then.

currently, 100 bucks is a decent offer for it.

"PR has never been a factor for serps or SE traffic"

rubbish - it used to be the most important factor - its just that there are "more" factors taken into account these days - i.e. social signals just being a small part of googles algo

When you buy a domain/site you dont pay for potential or future possible earnings (unless youre an idiot).

Thx. Hope you are well. Yeah, I also used to run a couple of blogs on Twan's old platform. It did well. It still has a lot of traffic. Enough to break the server. LOL. Obviously, I won't be finding buyers on GFY.

It's always about potential. Why would anybody buy anything without looking at possibilities?

bns666 06-18-2015 04:46 AM

nice catch, but not worth 35k eur

charlie g 06-18-2015 05:51 AM
