Apparently grapesoda is the only person in the country who doesn't know who Bill Maher is.

Bill Maher is a bit of a whiner. He should stick to just comedy and not do 'obsessed about my political views, with a tiny bit of comedy'. It sucks.

if you like bill maher you're a glutton for punishment and self-loathing. he berates his audience as much as he does religion and republicans and whatever else is on his shit list.

he comes across as a know it all, where his views are the only truth, and he sounds desperate in cramming it down everyones throat, which to me makes the comedy not funny.

I always assumed Bill was a miserable prick and hated his life. Most of the fans of his that I know sure are.

To some level, she does make some good points about immigrants sucking on the system -- but she's such a shitstain. And she always comes off as nervous during debates with a trembling voice, like she doesn't really believe what she's saying. My money is on Ann Coulter being mostly a fabricated, calculated character.

Just because I disagree with what she says doesn't mean she's not allowed to say it, or doesn't mean I wouldn't listen to her point of view, or close myself off from her. Disagreeing with what she says doesn't take away from the fact that she's very articulate and a great speaker. Maher disagrees with her on everything but still has her on his show, and apparently they are friends in real life too. With all this, why wouldn't I watch his show because she is his guest one night?

I know what you mean. I like him and I think his jokes are funny, but I don't always like how they are delivered... I still watch his show though.
