Duplicate category urls on blog, seo?
 

Hello. I just noticed but for some reason on a wpmu blog of mine the category urls default to site.com/category/cat1 cat1 being the category name..
But if I go to site.com/cat1 without /category or whatever the slug is it goes to the same page.

Why would it use both and does that matter at all with SEO? :upsidedow

Edit: But it's a subfolder multisite and if I create a blog with the same name as the category, it turns into a blog instead of category page without the /category
