Honestly I just find the whole race thing in America trivial. When I lived overseas for 5 years, I quickly learned that every country, culture, and every race, has the same issues, even in predominantly homogeneous societies. The whole, we're better than you for {fill in the blank} reason exists everywhere.

The unique thing in the U.S. is this pervasive mentality "I'm currently victimized by you because of something someone of your skin color did to people of my skin color, not me."
