The Coming Millennial Revolution

Get this: there are now 83.1 million millennials in America

We are outnumbered!

Your old ways need to change to capture the market potential of the Millennials.

Just think of it: 83.1 Million of the "Facebook Generation."

Adapt or rot away ... https://gfy.com/images/misc/bookmarksite_facebook.gif

You are probably right Snapchat, Tindle, Instacrap ...

I meant to illustrate their new(est) "social media" they use 'till it gets boring or replaced. Actually, Facebook's largest growing segment is the Millennial's parent's generation. How that happened ...

The old concepts of this business are on life support.

The Millennials will just make their own porn and new adult social media or file share it. I don't think they are going to need a middleman -- we are probably too expensive.

Barry-xlovecam 06-25-2015 06:07 PM

So the big question is who will be around or willing to advertise on this new porn social media sharing platform?

This is "our segment" of the Millennial market -- Millennials get horny like their previous generations ...

L-Pink 06-25-2015 06:26 PM

But ...... we have done an excellent job of training them porn is free.

Barry-xlovecam 06-25-2015 07:25 PM

They would still need a platform to share or sell their indie porn and services for the platform's marketing. They may like money too -- financial infrastructure. We are not extinct -- yet.

Living in the rust belt I understand that utilizing existing infrastructure and retasking is how you don't become the next Detroit -- a rotting hulk.

Not just porn. Many of them want an expect everything to be free.

Free is the biggest marketing sham in history -- the Millennials didn't event it.
As Millennials acquire wealth they will have money to spend.
Old product is of no interest as they got that free already :2 cents:
Millennials don't work for free (if they are employed).
The oldest Millennials are 30 -35 years-of-age and entering their prime earning years in another 10 years.

I am not planning a Granny Cam Site to keep our market share :D
In fact I am pushing to enter emerging markets globally -- 1 billion dimes (0.10) is 100 Million Dollars :)

See where they are (USA android non-game apps list):
https://www.appannie.com/apps/google...s/application/

#6 Snapchat -> I forecast this is a dot com bubble, may not keep popular on long term

#13 Kik -> This is real. We get lots of affiliates spamming kik and bringing millennials to our cam site, I can tell NO ONE of the guys coming from kik buys ever anything, but they blah blah a lot and stalk models wasting everyone's bandwidth and patience

#25 Twitter -> I forecast it will end up as bad as myspace at some point

#47 Vine -> yet another sexting thing like snapchat

Now, USA top apps are top also because lots of advertising pushing up some. So let's check some less advertised countrie's top lists:

https://www.appannie.com/apps/google...s/application/
https://www.appannie.com/apps/google...a/application/
https://www.appannie.com/apps/google...e/application/
No snapchat, vine, kik in top 100 of Philippines, India, Ukraine, and you don't find kik's, vine's in South America as well. The only worldwide popular apps are facebook and it's instagram property, skype and yahoo, maybe because the parents of millennials use them... if we could divide by age, could be millennials do change app every year and anyway group in different app per country, quite a mess.

found this thread again and your concerns are still all valid, this is a hugh market we are missing somehow, maybe there are so many young wm here on GFY that may have good ideas (but dunno if millennials realy like to share these type of ideas hehe)
When I worked at some international commerce office 2 years ago I noticed this gen loves anime, manga, comics, that is, anything related with fantasy stuff. But I guess we need to tell them more in a story format, like those japaneses consumig lots of sex stories stuff in their phones
lets keep alive this thread for a while, Im willing to try something innovative here hehe

Barry-xlovecam 06-08-2016 04:30 PM

Android is a Millennial innovation.
The Bernie Sanders campaign was a Millennial driven *revolt*.

There are a lot of big things happening.

Most of them live off mom and dad. They can't afford free.

But you are right. Old ways are done. For the few who have money hew strategies are required. Yu must have seen the Meeker video. Good stuff.
