Hopefully, soon, we will get government completely out of marriage altogether. It's a private contract entered into by adults, the government shouldn't be setting the terms anyway. As long as they are adults making a voluntary decision, it shouldn't be anyone's business what 2, 3, 4, 5, etc people of whatever gender want to do as far as committing to each other.

It's easier just to get married than to draw up to five billion agreements that marriage already covers.

yeah and it's a bit unnerving that the supreme court is now a lawmaking body, like congress or the senate...pls show me in the constitution where the supreme court has the right to set laws... and I only ask because you have more knowledge on the subject than me
