Technically, if he's running, shouldn't he have to quit his TV show anyways?
It could run into problems with the equal-time rule. Not sure if his show would qualify, but I could see rival candidates getting their attorneys warmed up for it.

wtf, he did not even say anything wrong... even by PC mafia standards...

Ridiculous.

And well said:

Trump's rep said he "stands by his statements on illegal immigration, which are accurate. NBC is weak, and like everybody else is trying to be politically correct--- that is why our country is in serious trouble."

mineistaken 06-29-2015 05:11 PM

And wtf is with the title. Trump said it about "illegal immigrants" and title make sit sound as if he was speaking about race of latinos or something.
Fucking SJW scumbags crossed the line... It is too PC even by super sensitive PC warriors standards...
Unbelievable really...

I disagree. I think Obama has been the best US President in a really long time. And he is crushing the GOP in just about every possible way. I think that if the presidential election were held today, more people will vote Hillary or Bernie just because they are democrat, and not republican.

bronco67 06-29-2015 05:17 PM

Trump is going to wreck everything for the Republicans. I love it.

Every time his unfiltered shithole says something idiotic or ignorant, all of the other candidates are going to be asked their opinion and that's where the fun will start.

The entire Republican Party is a train wreck and has been for some years now. I had hoped that they would eventually see the light, that Crazy is not good, but they just keep getting worse and worse..

At first it was nice to make fun and poke at them, but honestly I really wish they would get their fucking act together and dump the fucking crazy train they have going on.. They are destroying this country and the further to the extreme they go, makes it harder and harder to get anything good done.

Any move by any republican back towards rationality will see them immediately crucified by their base. No idea what might be a workable path back to the real world for them, but you know there's gotta be a shitload of them looking for that path right about now.

The Bankers (Illuminati) that own the federal reserve and the media, among other things, will not allow a serious candidate for the presidency be other than Republican or
Democrat. Cause they also own both parties evidently. Guys wake up! There is no real democraty in the USA. It's Blind leading Blind, and all controlled by the same people, its been like that for a hundred years now.

You guys went on an on about Obama having no political experance and now you are rooting for a guy whom is already causing issues with other countries..

You guys also complained that Obama made relations with countries like Iseral and Saudi strained.. Meanwhile Mexico and other South American countries who. We have good relations with are pissed at what he said..

Why is it you guys complain about things when it's Obama, but turn around and give free passes to your guy..

Also Trump doesn't have a chance in hell.. He's already alienated anyone whom isn't a white Republican.. Much the same as the Republican Party in general. It doesn't matter how well he does in the GOP debates or polls. He simply can not get elected because there is zero chance of him getting the votes.

He is just another Right wing extreme candidate.. mitt Romeny had a better chance of getting middle ground votes than Trump does and look how bad Romeny did..

The simple fact is, the Republican Brand is broken and Trump isn't gonna help it any.

this sort of attitude at the network is prolly why Howard Stern is leaving AGT.

Robbie 06-30-2015 06:13 PM

I don't agree with any of the bullshit regarding our southern border and the idea of building a "wall" (didn't we label the Soviet Union as "evil" because of the Berlin Wall just a couple of decades ago?).
And there was no problem on the border until the U.S. "War On Drugs" drove the Colombian Cocaine cartels out of business and the operations moved north to Mexico.

Having said all that...I don't get what the big deal is.

Trump only talked about ILLEGAL immigrants (which is still bullshit in my opinion).
And aren't ILLEGAL immigrants the big boogeyman to our South that is supposedly destroying the country?

At least that is what the media has been pushing (including NBC) for the past 10 years.

And now suddenly I'm supposed to believe that every LEGAL person of Hispanic origin is angry at Donald Trump for calling illegal immigrants "rapists"?

WTF?

I don't believe that for one second.
I don't think that U.S. citizens of Hispanic descent identify in any way, shape, or form with the criminal element of their race.

That would be like me and every white guy in the world getting offended at somebody saying that white criminals have a percentage of them that are rapists.

Woopty doo.

I think this is more of a media and special interest groups whipping up a sense of indignation.

I'm in a band with a couple of people who are 100% Hispanic. And neither of them were offended. And they said that no one in their families or circle of friends were either.

Having said all of that...Trump and all the other politicians that want to build a wall have NO support from me.

It would be like going back to alcohol prohibition and saying that building a wall around Chicago would have stopped the mafia from selling illegal booze.

The real problem is the War On Drugs. :(

The real problem is not just the war on drugs but the corruption in most South American countries which in turn cause no ability to modernize their economies with "real" business which would stop the flow of illegals.

But I agree building a wall is just party propaganda which the righties eat up everytime someone says it.. Walls doesn't stop shit.. Look at North Korea, many areas are even mined and people escape in droves.

He'll look at Iseral and all their walls and guards and people still dig tunnels in.. The wall idea is stupid shit to make dumb people cheer.

All the rules are gone. These guys can say anything they want now and not legally accountable. But don't "you" say anything like it or lie... you go to jail.

Then again, "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" is pretty damn funny. It is a great replacement for the Stephen Colbert Show already and will do me well if the new host of The Daily Show turns out to be a dud.

Donald Trump files $500M lawsuit against Univision

Donald Trump has filed a $500 million lawsuit against Univision after the network dropped his Miss USA pageant over his comments about Mexican people.

Univision last week announced it would not broadcast July 12?s Miss USA pageant taking place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after Trump described some Mexican immigrants as criminals and ?rapists? during his June 16 announcement that he?s running for president.

On Tuesday Trump filed a lawsuit in New York State Supreme Court. He said in a statement, ?Nothing that I stated was different from what I have been saying for many years. I want strong borders, and I do not support or condone illegal immigration. There is a high level of crime occurring in this country due to unchecked illegal immigration. This is a major security issue for the United States. Additionally, the terrible trade deals our government is routinely entering into with Mexico are causing great financial harm to our country. We are losing a huge number of jobs, manufacturing opportunities and money due to poorly negotiated trade deals, a fact that [is] undisputable. That won?t happen if I become president ? this disturbing trend will end and it will end quickly.?

He continued, ?I have great respect for Mexico and love for the Mexican people and their tremendous spirit! However, their leaders and trade negotiators are far smarter than those representing the United States, and our citizens and economy are suffering greatly as a result.

In a statement, Univision called Trump's lawsuit "factually false and legally ridiculous." It said it will "continue to fight against Mr. Trump's ongoing efforts to run away from the derogatory comments he made."
He also has apparently lost 2 more TV deals with two diffrent companies and both the hosts of his pageant have stepped down..

so macys dropped the Trump clothing line, kowtowing to liberal pressure. i'm pretty sure i mentioned a week or so ago that his comments and announcement would cause long lasting irreperable harm to his brand.

i have to add, i get that he shot his mouth off, he could have been more courteous, thoughtful, wtfever in how to state the issue, but the fact he shot from the hip with his comments also shows he's not being handled with handlers and others telling him what to say, while i disagree with the over the top brashness of his comments, i do find his lack of needing to play to groups refreshing, he tells it like he thinks it is and that is something that i would like in a president.

not saying he's my guy, or Trump for president. open-minded pros and cons is all.

We should also take issue with anyone that inflates their net worth using deception. What else will he lie about?

His primary business now is licensing the Trump name. He reminds us of this fact whenever a project fails. He gets a tiny slice of equity for use of Trump name.

To get his fake net worth he counted equity he doesn't have and also counted projects he developed for others, but does not own.

This guy is a fraud like the rest and is being presented as a breath of fresh air.

He's no better than Hillary.

I just hope we do not end up with a Bush, Clinton or Trump come 2016.

The problem with this Dynamo, is that he doesn't seem to have the ability to keep his dumb mouth shut. His "shooting from the hip" would cause this country a lot of harm, because many places have diffrent customs and some dumb ass commit he makes down the line could cause lots of problems with diplomatic relations with other countries..

He will never be president all he is doing is trying to make his "Brand" worth more and is failing miserably at that. He will certainly not help the Republican brand and is further helping push them toward more crazy..

all this talk about brands. it's over-emphasized. obviously this is not and was not a branding effort.

and i don't think it's accurate to assume his style would be detrimental to the USA. while i tend to agree, i am reminded of RR's "we begin bombing in 5 minutes", the fact that BO is considered weak by foreign leaders, putin, terrorists, etc. i can't sit here and claim i know his style would be bad for America for certain. Moreover, his style is quintessential AMerican. that's what we do, we talk loud and carry a big gun.

You can call Obama weak all you want, but it certainly wasn't George Bush whom gave the order to go after bin laden or to hit the Taliban in Pakastain. Where Bush allowed them to hide untouched..

I don't care what someone else thinks someone looks like, it's about the actions, not appearance. bush talked tough and then allowed bin laden to sit hidden away and allowed the Taliban to attack our troops and hide in Pakistan untouched. Obama didn't.. So whom had the better policy?

Obama did what had to be done, Bush talked a lot about doing it...
