Teen in Rowlett fighting video arrested

Rowlett police say they have arrested a young teen seen fighting in a now-viral video that surfaced on Liveleak.com.

Police said the clip recorded on June 19 shows the 13-year-old girl pulling another teen who is holding a toddler in the schoolyard at Herfurth Elementary. The 13-year-old continues hitting the other girl over and over again.

Rowlett police said they've been investigating the incident for about a week and issued a warrant for the teen's arrest.

Police said say the girl and a guardian were believed to be in hiding, but she was arrested at about 10 p.m. Sunday.

The toddler appears to be okay.

I'm not watching, I'll take your word for it. I will say, that in general, a 13 year old so selfish and thoughtless as to viciously attack someone holding a toddler should be charged with child abuse and child endangerment. No joke.
