Imagemagick messes up this GIF when cropping. HELP!
 

Does anyone know why imagemagick would mess up this GIF like that?

2nd gif has more jizz so best leave it alone :thumbsup

Hmmm, strange one...

Check the gif header info.
There are programs to correct it I think.
It probably NOT imagemagik.

But it's actually my script that needs to crop GIFs correctly. So I'm trying to fix whatever is wrong with it.
I noticed that it will resize correctly:

Resized:

But it's when cropping that I get the snowy effect...

What script are you executing and what version of IM are you using?

Edit: sometimes using -background None fixes the snowy effect, but mostly with text and AA issues, but doesn't hurt to try :p

It's a custom script.
Asked my host about my version of IM.
