I thought a good national soccer team could do that.
In Holland when people where forced to go in duty for 12 months the days went like this:
Fall in sleep drunk, wake up with a joint, eat hamburgers, play monoply risk and card games, watch a pornmovie, smoke a joint, eat, drink in the bar, fall asleeep drunk. And that was what you learnt and the months went by. Sometimes some practice, but at my compagnie that meant lying in the grass putting up weather balloons. When an officer said i must run around a field, i just walked normally and said i had time enough to do it slow.
Most people that stayed in the army where just stupid that they couldn't find a job in 'real life' is the opinion of most who served for 12 months. Maybe therefor we can't understand the fuzz in Holland about the military. Big cultural differences.
