Mad Max Max : Don't let WIMMINZ buy movie tickets!
 

So last night my Tracy said Let's go see Mad Max! We got to the theatre and she bought the tickets. Went in, sat down, and as the movie started I realized she bought tickets for "Max" instead of "Mad Max: Fury Road".

Wimminz. Sigh.

Max is a fantastic movie. i never realized military dogs suffer from ptsd.

Instead of screaming and yelling and cheering for Mad Max, she cried her eyes out for a dog. Still an emotionally satisfying time at the movies, but...


I didn't want to like it, but I liked it (No spoilers). It's a G-rated family film that I would have never bothered watching unless it was on TV and there was nothing else on. The story was nice and the actors were good, etc. At certain parts though I was thinking that the director must have have lots of control because certain scenes could have been so much "worse", if you know what I mean. I'm used to hyper violent movies these days and kept expecting hyper violence but there was none. Fortunately. Phew!

I'm trying to convince my wife for us to get a German Shepard. She is not a huge fan of dogs. Hoping this movie will sway her.

I've always wanted to get one too, but I've beard they usually suffer from hip problems. How true is that?

I've seen Mad Max - and I liked it. Awesome post apocalyptic action with explosions and sandstorms. Awesome colors and stunts. Boom ! I liked it a lot.

BTW did you manage to see it anyway ?
