Nope, didn't seem like a good role for Arnold. Thoroughly enjoyed Chappie though.

Dailydiapers 07-11-2015 06:05 PM

I enjoyed it. Not the action flick you expect from him (probably why some dislike it) but a good "human" zombie movie.

Vacares 07-11-2015 06:06 PM

Arnold has wasted no time getting back into it.

brassmonkey 07-11-2015 07:24 PM

xFoundry 07-12-2015 01:14 PM

He's scraping now.trying to scoop up any dollar.I don't think this will improve his acting career, just looking desperate

Is Maggie an electric car?

Hardly scraping up every last dollar... terminator looks pretty good, haven't been to see it yet though.

That being said, I think he's doing it more as a hobby now then anything. Put yourself in his shoes - ton of money banked from a lifetime of acting, you don't have to do anything anymore - but how would you spend your time?

Hhhm... This could be interesting... :) :thumbsup

I was looking forward to this but it came and went from theaters and I didn't even realize it. I thought it was going to be like a theatrical version of The Last of Us video game. Instead it ended up being Arnold moping around for a couple weeks waiting for his daughter to die. Easily in my top 3 most depressing movies, only surpassed by The Road.

Seemed like they had less of a budget than a single episode of the walking dead.

Having said that, Arnold's acting was pretty decent for a change. Just don't go into it expecting a big budget zombie movie with a happy ending and you might enjoy the story.

perfect roll for arny, mostly he just walked around looking stoic and with few lines.

the movie was way too slow, ultimately boring as hell.
should have been like 30minutes long max with that story line.
the whole time i was like ok its going to start now....

Not at all. The guy is super rich from not just his acting jobs on Terminator, but he probably owns a piece of the revenue too.

And besides I love seeing actors act way outside their comfort zone. I especially like dramatic movies starring comedians. For example, Robin Williams in The Final Cut & Bicentennial Man, or Jim Carrey in The Truman Show.
