Wallingford police called after Nazi, Confederate merchandise found at flea market

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) ? Over the weekend, Wallingford police were dispatched after someone called them to say there was a merchant selling Nazi and Confederate memorabilia at flea market, which some had found deeply offensive. The police chief says no one was arrested because no laws were broken; the items were being sold on private property.

I don't have a problem with that person calling the cops in that Podunk town. For all I know that person could be a Holocaust survivor with PTSD. I dont think this is a news story.

This is a large part of the reason I left the U.S. 2 years after 911. The media & politicians fighting for influence will purposely set people like this into motion by putting stories like this out there, then it's a chain reaction and becomes a feeding frenzy that you'll see in every kind of media, almost every day for years.

The way I read it, she paid by credit card and was offered a refund back to her credit card, but she refused - demanding that they refund her in cash. That's not how it works. She could have accepted the refund to her card. She could have disputed the charge with the CC company. But no. She needed instant gratification. So she called 911. And she got what she deserved.

There is a difference between selling items related to history and flying flags from government buildings. This is why we do not fly the Nazi flag from capital buildings.
