So who has seen Ted 2 ?? Verdict ?

Might go check it out tonight if I can be bothered after dinner. If not will leave it till later in the week probably.

A friend who saw it last night said he liked it better than the first one. Have my doubts about that but hopefully it's still good regardless.

It was "good" as in if you're bored and don't mind passing some time it is worth it. It has its moments I guess.

It is just one of those usual time passers that if you take it for what it is you will enjoy. Not ground breaking comedy but still worth seeing.

I thought the first one was ok, but was hoping for more. I heard Ted 2 is better, raunchier, grosser, etc, but I haven't seen it.

Probably my favourite scene from the first one:

Ted 2 is not so good, I laughed maybe once. There were couple of good songs in soundtrack.

That's what I heard too-
Rotten Tomatoes is usually spot ON, I am not going to bother with TED2 until it's on netflix.

I have always thought Mark Wahlberg was way overrated. I will give him lots of credit for finding interesting projects and creating excitement/sales, but his acting is terrible. Always the same.

ottopottomouse 07-13-2015 12:43 PM

Better than the first one.

The first one was good but the sequel is terrible. The plot is boring as hell and if you want to see all the good jokes than watch a trailer.

Agreed for the most part, but he was good in the movies Shooter, Rock Star, Fear, and I found him funny in The Other Guys (normally not a fan of Will Farrell either, unless he's restrained) His new Movie, Daddy's Home looks promising.

Own the first one, good for a laugh here and there but not one of my faves. Think being a pothead would help, which I'm not. Will see new one but definitely no hurry on it. :2 cents:

Rotten Tomatoes hasn't been spot on for about the past 10 years.

It isn't great, almost unwatchable really.

Paul Markham 07-14-2015 01:11 AM

Second one is funnier. If you're looking for a plot or a "message". Don't bother, it's not for you.

Hasn't been spot on with YOUR tastes?

dirtymind 07-14-2015 06:19 AM

i liked it a lot, it was just funny.

candyflip 07-14-2015 07:23 AM

Mark Whalberg is my favorite. Ted 2 wasn't.

k0nr4d 07-14-2015 07:49 AM

I liked it, found it quite funny. Wahlberg is getting old though.

lukaswolf 07-16-2015 08:29 AM

Both parts are quite interested
