Does anyone have a working KVS script?
I bought a copy a few weeks ago and it is still not working. I run it on a self managed VPS and had to install Imagemagick, FFMPEG, etc. I've given the credentials to support and little by little get feedback. So.. With that out of the way, has anyone ever had a successful install or know a little about it so that it can work? With the support it's almost like you need to be a computer science major to get it up and running.
Thanks for any feedback negative or positive at this moment. |
First step would be probably to check if you meet all the requirements:
KVS - Server requirements You can look at the documentation next, I guess: KVS - Documentation And solve everything else, with them. |
Support and I have gone over it and I've installed the necessities. I'm in the Eastern Standard time and they are in Russia or wherever. Support is delayed and it's e-mail driven.

I have a customer who uses KVS. I installed all of the requirements on their server for them and everything apparently went pretty smoothly.
The only problem we had was after an OS update, somehow ipv6 got enabled on the server but their host didn't support ipv6. If the domain resolved to an ipv6 address, curl would try to reach it with that IP and it wouldn't work. After I disabled ipv6 it worked ok. |
I have it running smooth on a couple sites. Just follow their instructions and things should get working for you.
I had issues when I moved servers (bcos diff server specs) but all is fixed now after making sure all required things were installed etc per kvs support instructions Pretty good script |
Come host with us and we will install it for you on your server with all the modules you need to run it. We do that for free :)
