Can't access Google Tagmanager, WTF?
Since yesterday I haven't been able to use Google Tagmanager. The site is mostly blank white. What the fuck is that about? I have tried to use is as being already logged in to Google and not logged in, and with different browsers. I use Tagmanager for more sophisticated tracking and now I can't do shit as I cannot access the whole site. At least the tracking seems to still work.
Google Tag Manager official website |

Tagmanager is used to track visitor actions on the site. Many (most) of the things can be done otherwise too, but Tagmanager is easier and better for that. I use it to send tracked information to Google Analytics and in fact I run Google Analytics through tag manager. I have just Tagmanager tracking code on the site(s). If you use Analytics it is like additional plugin for that. |
The page loads like this for me.
<!DOCTYPE html> <html class="google" lang="en"> <head> <script> (function(H){H.className=H.className.replace(/\bgoogle\b/,'google-js')})(document.documentElement) </script> <meta charset="utf-8"> <meta content="initial-scale=1, minimum-scale=1, width=device-width" name="viewport"> <meta content= "Google Tag Manager makes it easy for marketers to add and update website tags -- including analytics, remarketing, and more ? with just a few clicks, and without bugging the IT folks." name="description"> <title> Google Tag Manager official website </title> <script src="//www.google.com/js/google.js"> </script> <link href="//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300,400,600,700&lang=en" rel= "stylesheet"> <link href="/tagmanager/css/default.css" rel="stylesheet"> <link href="/tagmanager/images/tag_manager-16.ico" rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon"> <script type='text/javascript'> var dataLayer = [{'tagTypeBlacklist': ['html']}]; </script><noscript><iframe class="gtm" height="0" src= "//www.googletagmanager.com/ns.html?id=GTM-RMWZ" width="0"></iframe></noscript> <script src="/2a3648baf27942f681b71e70b2b84fdc&jscript_id=fs_rat ing.min.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/2a3648baf27942f681b71e70b2b84fdc&css_id=bubble.min .css"/></head> <body> <script> (function(w,d,s,l,i){w[l]=w[l]||[];w[l].push({'gtm.start': new Date().getTime(),event:'gtm.js'});var f=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0], j=d.createElement(s),dl=l!='dataLayer'?'&l='+l:''; j.async=true;j.src= '//www.googletagmanager.com/gtm.js?id='+i+dl;f.parentNode.insertBefore(j,f); })(window,document,'script','dataLayer','GTM-RMWZ'); </script> <div class="maia-header" id="maia-header" role="banner"> <div class="maia-aux"> <h1> <a href="../tagmanager/"><img alt="Google" src= "//www.google.com/images/logos/google_logo_41.png"> Tag Manager</a> </h1><a class="maia-teleport" href="#content">Skip to content</a> <div class="maia-util"> <div id="head-cta"> Already have an account? <a href="https:/ |
Doesn't looks so swell as the last link is cut in half, etc.
|
Could this be some CDN fuckup?
I need to access Tagmanager. I wonder if contacting Google would do anything? They are not that easy to reach anyways. Maybe through Adwords account? Suggestions? |

I still can't access that Tagmanager without proxy. |
I had a similar problems with another site and managed to get over it following this
9 Ways to Fix if You Can't Access a Particular Website - wikiHow there are many reasons, youll need to go through each one to figure it out. |
I can access Tagmanager website; the login page to be more exact, but the page looks like shit and there is no way to login. There is ?hl=fi-extension in that pic (url), but it doesn't make it any different with or without it.

I have virus scanner (F-secure). So far it hasn't picked anything (re-running it now).

Also, I can access Tagmanager with proxy, as already suggested. |

Regarding the subject I have recently got new kind of Google login screens (from that link too). At first I though something was messed up and I clicked the link again from browser's favorites and it was again the same than before. Now, today and yesterday I have had the new kind of login screen consistently. Seems like some Google update; the difference is that in the new login I first give email and then password at the next page. In the old one I gave the both at the same page. How does it look for you guys? |
does the first one work if you add the s? - https://
anyway its strange as they both work for me https://www.google.com/tagmanager/ https://tagmanager.google.com/ |

thats why without https its not working or something is breaking. but with https its not possible , so there you have it. but i may be wrong. how do i know ? government in some countries tries to ban specific sites and change the body content of site/page on the fly with warning. but it doesnt work with https, that is why people can still access banned sites if they access via https. so as site owner you should always enable https access and or force all traffic to https., but do not use SNI , as its not supported on all browsers., now i have gone too far from main subject anyways good luck., |

But yeah, I just found out another Google's page not working for me. I thought to link that datecenter stuff and the page doesn't work for me without https. Hamina, Finland – Data Centers – Google Google has told about its ambitions to make everything encrypted. Maybe I am some lab rat in here? I have found this issue only on Google's pages. |
