What will Cam sites do when Flash dies ?
There are calls from Facebook to Adobe to set a end of life date for Flash.
Firefox and Chrome blocked Flash until some serious expoits were fixed in the ageing insecure codebase. The world is rapidly moving toward HTML5. However most cam sites still demand Flash. Flash is obviously on borrowed time, so when will cam sites get with the times ? |
imho flash isnt going anywhere real soon.,
but if browsers will play the GOD and block all flash sites then site owners serving content in flash have to think another alternative . or til some big corp like google /ms/fb takeover flash and fix that thing permanently. and or improve it or replace it with somthing els.e, no matter what people say thet flash is outdated and so, try to dissable flash and surf the net. it feels so much broken. anyways thats my view., . i hope flash comes back and stays here . |

Google uses HTML5, Facebook does mostly and is rapidly deprecating remaining support for Flash for older browsers. This week Chrome and Firefox blocked Flash until a security fix was issued. |
Is enough that the cam girl got flash (to send video), it is possible to play video without flash already.

I started programming in flash around 5 years before. At that time everybody said "you are stupid... Flash is over... HTML5 its here....Nobady use flash anymore..." and soo on.
At now, the flash its here and lots of people and sites use. The Italians found some serious security hole. And? The Adobe will stop this. Its an Histerical campain again Flash which is go around every year. In 2013 (if i remember well) the Mozilla bloked the Java and Silverlight on the same reason. |
Adapt or die ...

We decided to write a brand new server for our LiveCamNetwork system and change the way the core operates because like everyone else, we're afraid that Flash is going away.
The new system which is in final beta now, tests the video format capabilities that the customer can support then sends in that format and falls back to Flash if necessary. We started working on this in January and will be installing it on the first live site at the beginning of next week. www.2Much.net |

Adobe is fucking stupid anyway.. Back when they bought out Macromedia, they killed the Shockwave product in favor of their own home grown flash.. Shockwave was better at everything and even incorporated 3d way back then. All the browser game sites were filled with shockwave games at that time but Adobe killed it all because they wanted flash instead.

The reason we are all so scared of viruses is because we all got them over and over again through internet explorer and Windows.
But we need to kill Flash. . |
Sad to hear. I do animations in flash...

The main problem is in the bad (insecure) PHP scripts that connect to MySQL. Use PHP PDO :2 cents: (and hope for the best). |
