It's been a exactly 1 year today since those fucking dog thieves shot my dog. Tough little guy has almost died 4 times, but he keeps pulling through. Life for a dog in Vietnam is very dangerous. I'm yet to see an old dog.

They used like a home made harpoon/stun gun. Seems like their equipment shorted out causing that explosion.. his fur was burnt. They steal them to sell as dog meat. A guy i know had two of his Pitbulls stolen, he brought them over from the US.

My two dogs are rescue dogs, unfortunately one is now dead. Fucking dog munchers!

Yes, security has been upgraded since then. Had only been living in Nam for a year and was naive. My dog lives inside now.. the smell of piss and shit is a small price to pay considering these assholes beat them to death before cooking.

Time to put out a hidden eye level camera recording outside of the gate area. A camera that a get the faces of anyone waking up around your gate.

Why don't you kill those people? Get a couple more rescue dogs as bait, fat ones. Sit out with a gun at night and when they come back, which they will, shoot them in self defense. People like that terrorizing people and stealing animals to sell to be killed should be taken down.

The other dog in the video was poisoned a few months later. They threw poisoned chicken over the gate. When they poison a dog they can't eat it. It usually means they are coming back to rob your house that night. She was dead within 5 minutes.

No offense taken.. besides the way they treat animals (which drives me crazy) and some petty theft, 99.9% of the people here are awesome. They would give you their last cup of rice if you asked. Every country and culture has it's idiots, there is no escaping that.

When living in AUS and the US I was alive, but not really living (if that makes sense). Everyday is an adventure here, even the mundane things like going to the supermarket can turn into an exciting adventure. It's not uncommon to see a dead body on the road, or someone cutting a chickens throat. In the cotton candy countries we have become too sanitized, all this is hidden from us. I have no desire to return to any nanny states.

The fuckers who shot your dog.....i would strip them naked, turn them face down on a gravel road, tie them to the back of a pick up truck and take a leisure drive on the gravel road at 40mph. Stopping briefly to flip them over and pour jack daniels on their penises, flip them over again and drive 20 mph to prolong the agony:thumbsup

You can't farm dogs for meat, their diet is mostly carnivorous.. which means raising them from pups to a decent weight is too expensive and not profitable. So these assholes steal people's pets.
