Grooveshark co-founder, 28, found dead in home

Sad news :S

........

Grooveshark co-founder Josh Greenberg, a pioneer in Gainesville?s student startup movement, was found dead in his bed Sunday by his girlfriend in the house they shared. He was 28.

Lori Greenberg, his mother, said Monday he had no health problems and she was told by police who investigated Sunday night that there was no evidence of foul play, injuries or drugs.....

I hope an extremely contagious form of "Pirate Plague" nailed him.

What happened to all the $$$$$$$$$$$??

EliteWebmaster 07-20-2015 12:54 PM

He was probably listening to Kanye West music and drop dead from the overflowing sounds of garbage penetrating his ears. If music could kill, that retard's music would be a lethal weapon. Who buys his shit I wonder

I didn't read anything about a cash settlement. As far as I know, they settled by shutting the site down and handing over their domains. People who bought yearly subscriptions simply lost their money. As far as to where that money went, who knows? Probably got sucked up into legal fees.

There's a good pun in this story somewhere but only an expert can mine it.

Or stashed away in Swiss accounts.

Since Universal is involved I am guessing the cause of death will be some kind of heart failure with no evidence of foreign trace elements in the body.

A new CNN article says 50$ million ordered in restitution to the labels.

Also, the wiki I posted notes that someone with access to the skill sets and software behind GrooveShark has been re-launching various clones since May, each getting shut downed and owned by the labels.

He got a visit. He pissed off the wrong guys.
