thanks guys. Hell of a lot of work, also the first time i ever worked with adobe flash so I am proud of the result. Funny detail, i am from holland so i started to voice the guy myself and the girl by someone i know... but of course we are all dutch so the accents were horrible!

Now taylor could be voiced by any american chick, but kendrick has a more dinstinctive voice. You wouldn't believe me if i said he is voiced by a really talented white australian voice actor... but it's true :) this guy nailed it the first take.

Look at Adobe Character Animator which I already have with the Creative Cloud membership. I played with a little, but basically you can make cartoons move with your webcam in some kind videomocap, complete with lipsyncing.

Also Anime Studio is an awesome 2d animation program, and cheap as fuck to buy.

I did lip syncing the traditional way, but with the plugin keyframe caddy. That went pretty fast as well.

i haven't really kept track but i think a conventional workweek, so thats about 40 hours... very rough guess though. Alot of those hours i spent getting to know adobe flash though, so i'll be alot faster for my next one...

You'll find that time cut in half as you do it more.

I would say ditch Flash and use one of the tools made specifically for character animation like the ones I mentioned. You'll have an initial learning curve but get things done in far less time.

Not really funny but that was fucking awesome. I've wanted to try doing something like this for a long long time, what programs do you use if I may ask?
