What if you were sent to the main index or a cam that's already for sure live?

Would you be pissed off?

I'm trying to find out if I should link to a model that might be offline if that is ruining my chances of a sale.

I would expect to see her cam (feed), live or not.

To her cam if she is live. It depends if your page is scripted dynamically and only presents online models.

If it's hard coded you won't covert to well linking to models that are offline.

Careful using their images lots for some reason dont want you to profit from sending traffic.

99.9% of our models have published images that an affiliate could use.
The models that might not have an image are usually brand new -- just starting out.

The problem is unauthorized screen cap images. If I screen capped you in a skype video call and published it -- would you be OK with that?

At this point I'm speaking of Live Jasmin, they don't have a "If not online, go to active model" option.

I already suggested this to them, hopefully they listen.

What many of our affiliates do is use a live cam on the model's page on their website. The live cam will be the next available model if the chosen model is not online -- less than perfect but better that a dead cam.

If you can work with the model's or the site's live model overview XML files you can program an online or offline status icon for that model -- some assembly required -- you have to code the script for your own website. Each model also has an XML feed of all her public data and images (some as many as 100 pics) that you could work and use to build a page.

Users intend to end up with the model they clicked on if they click on a specific picture. With ClickCash, we let you link to an iFriends model's page -- if she's live, they will be in her feed; if she's offline, they will go to her bio page.

Conversions are always best if you can connect the user directly with live models who meet their interests. That's why we offer a variety of RSS feeds, iFrames, landers, and WordPress plugins that our affiliates use that dynamically update to always show live models.

The link should end up on the model's feed if she's live, if not it should direct to her offline profile page. Either way, the users want to see that girl. That was their motivation to click.

That is what I want to see. The view wants to see more of that girl. They may even buy a video that she has for sale.

If the image is of a petite blonde and clicking takes them to a 400 pound gorilla then yes it hurts your sales chances. I'm exclusive to Streamate these days and any ads I pull from them besides my white labels automatically only show girls that are currently online. :2 cents:

The way our site works is if a model is offline it will redirect to the main cams page. Most sites should do that I would imagine.

I have been asking for referal links directly to the webcam girls, but the Crak support team told me that it would be bad for conversion if the girl were not online and they sent the traffic there, to me that is not an issue, people want to see that specific girl, and you convertion rates will be better, let me know when a cam sites offer links directly to the girl shows
