The press is trying to pretend that Trump is "outrageous" and a "sideshow"
I even heard S.E. Cupp say on CNN that he wasn't acting in a "dignified way" as a candidate. Really? Politics is now supposed to be all hugs and kisses and it's "dignified" Bullshit. Check out this from the campaign of 1800 with Vice President Thomas Jefferson running against sitting President John Adams: "Jefferson's camp accused President Adams of having a "hideous hermaphroditical character, which has neither the force and firmness of a man, nor the gentleness and sensibility of a woman." In return, Adams' men called Vice President Jefferson "a mean-spirited, low-lived fellow, the son of a half-breed Indian squaw, sired by a Virginia mulatto father." This is the biggest bunch of bullshit I have ever seen in my lifetime. The media is creating fake "outrage". What a joke! |

Fact is he has the leading headline almost everyday for the past month.
He is for sure building his brand - not sure in a positive light, but he doesn't give a shit. He is probably the best thing to happen to the democratic party in a long time - as he really sheds light on the ignorance of the republican party. Overall there are very few politicians on either side that really give a shit about helping the country or the people, mostly they are in it for the power, money and fame. |

I think this is what the Republican party has been waiting for.... He is saying what people (meaning Republicans) feel. I'm not saying that Republicans honestly believe that "all Mexicans are rapists", but clearly the Republican party is out of touch with Hispanics. The problem there is Hispanics are a large and growing demographic; Here in California Hispanics are now the majority (I want my minority low interest business loan!).
I am wondering how this all plays out. Will Trump win the nomination for the Republican party? This is gonna be fun. Can you imagine Hillary and Trump going toe to toe with each other in a debate? Lol. |

Adams called Jefferson...THEN we will be talking a real political fight. Until then? I think Trump isn't doing anything "outrageous". But then again everything he does is labeled "outrageous" by the press. All I'm saying is that in comparison to other political campaigns...it is most definitely not. |

Trump's comments only seems to have alienated illegals and a certain % of actual latino voters, obviously not all of whom are Mexican. Yet here in this thread and in untold other threads and forums across the universe people are posting such succinct reactions such as "Wow, how did that happen?" and "I did not see that coming" with regard to Trump's Latino numbers. People are confused. I wanted a light indication of just how many here might be. Now I have it. :D I did not need nor ask for huge splainations on Latino 101. |
