European Commission: Disneyland Paris Charging Brits and German More
 

Claims that Disneyland Paris is freezing out UK and German customers of certain price promotions could trigger a probe by Brussels.

People in the UK were paying 15% more for one-day tickets to the theme park near Paris, according to the Financial Times.

French consumers were in some cases paying ?1,346 for a premium package, while UK visitors were charged ?1,870 and Germans ?2,447, the newspaper reported.

The European Commission told the BBC that it had "received a number of complaints" from customers.

I know people that just went to eurodisney... among other ridiculous amounts they paid 70 euro for a fucking lunch (fastfood quality). Once you're withing the gates... the extortion-game starts...

Even outside the gates in the Disney Village all the places are a rip-off, I couldn't find any nice food either, even the pizzas taste weird

I was there last year and it was nothing like that. I think ticket entrance was like 65Euro each and then we had lunch for about 35 Euros each.

Come on... 35 euros pp for a lunch is just simply outrageous... You can have a decent Three-course dinner in Amsterdam for 35 euros pp.

The price differential probably reflects the difference in cost, advertising, commissions which vary from country to country. Not your nationality.

Seemed pretty steep the last time we went there.
