Yes. Definitely let them know! That's the only human thing to do.

I'd expect (or at least hope) they would do the same for you, so I'd let them know for sure.

I think the same way and always do. And people give it back to me - not necessarily the same people but people thinking alike. So it goes around :)

let them know., but there are some asshole site owners , who makes it very difficult for ppl to contact them.

i recall incident, i tried to notify issue
no contact form on site/no contact infomartion on site, got mail from whois, mailed him, got reply, my ip is abusive so server dropped my mail, changed ip/used vpn resent mail.....whoosh.

Somebody will probably notify them with a lawsuit if you don't do it.
