Apparently those hackers didn't really have the Ashley Madison member records hey claimed they got. Its been a week and not a peep from them, and its obvious AM has no plans to comply.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was just a publicity stunt for AM

AM is the king of publicity stunts, but this is way beyond even them.

Exactly. There are publicity stunts and there is stupidity. Making people think you have been hacked and lost their personal information is not a good way to get new customers.
