I was just pointing out that in Jewish Israel, homosexuality is accepted, and crazy wacko extremists are rare, and their actions land them in jail. In other words, Israel does it's best to stop craziness like this. On the other hand, in the countries around them, (including Gaza), homosexuality is a crime and those crazies who commit violence against them are validated and endorsed by the government. The lunatics and extremists are in charge and are the majority in those places.

Yes and no.. Israel is clearly at odds with them as in the example given over military service.. However it's these guys whom are the ones whom keep pushing the border further and further by taking over settlements and running the Palestinians out.

I think the govt there has a love hate relationship with them, because they are more than happy to keep gobbling up settlements from the Palestinians and it's these orthodox whom do the ground work to do that.
