I want to start managing my own optin email list and was just wondering what the best software program was?

Why not just use YNOT Mail.... Get a real industry support and never fear being kicked off the service for adult content.

Thanks for the tip Rochard I will check that out. However, I am interested in peoples experience with the above mentioned programs that also do mainstream etc.:helpme

Never heard of it

dadamail is old and we skipped it cause most ended up in spambox. Phplist is doing better. https://www.phplist.org/

Amazing e-mail spam goes anywhere except the spambox. Gmail has pretty much sorted out spam lists.

mainstream solutions like mailchimp refuse adult?

mahoney 08-01-2015 07:42 PM

I would like to run my own optin list without having to pay a monthly fee from a 3rd party service.:upsidedow

I've been getting 30-40% open rate with DadaMail for many years now.. Don't see the point in paying for a service.

A simple click on their terms and conditions link from their website:

Acceptable Use Policy | MailChimp

Prohibited Content

Please don't use MailChimp to send anything offensive, to promote anything illegal, or to harass anyone. You may not send:

Pornography or other sexually explicit Emails
Emails offering to sell illegal goods or services
Emails that violate CAN-SPAM Laws
Marketing or commercial email without permission

-------------------

They and several other mainstream mailing services routinely bounce accounts that promote and sell porn.

It's simple really... if you have adult related mailers to send... use an adult related company :thumbsup
