Bad Ass, I wonder how many time the bike sank before getting the money shot?

Does he have ski's on the front wheels? They make it look like it's a standard bike.

In any case very cool!~

Wouldn't just one wipeout in salt water make the bike junk?

Very cool, love the idea.

He's actually riding in front of the wave, would love to see him IN the tube, not in front of it.

bronco67 08-03-2015 04:51 PM

I would be impressed if the bike wasn't on a board.

Spunky 08-03-2015 05:00 PM

dyna mo 08-03-2015 05:05 PM

that is something, i was wondering how fast you have to go to float like that, and then i saw some modifications made to bike.

Vacares 08-03-2015 07:16 PM

Many years ago I watched a snowmobile race on a river. It wasn't frozen. Middle of the summer.

They swapped out the standard treads for a different tread that had a cup looking paddle that would keep the snowmobile afloat when running. Pretty cool.

Saw an interview yesterday and he said he destroyed over 100 bikes.

Wow, that's a lot of fuck-up's. I wonder what it's like wiping out and finding yourself underwater in heavy surf wearing a helmet and racing boots.

EngineCash 08-04-2015 01:14 AM

This is really cool... :) Looks awesome I bet it feels like that also... :) :thumbsup

Very impressive, but the bike was modified for the occasion. Anyway, cool stunt!

A buddy did this although his sled wasn't modified. Made it a bunch of times but eventually sank it about 12 feet down. Had to pay for divers to retrieve it. Tried to run it under warranty afterwards. Never heard how that went, but I think he went bankrupt shortly after and lost it anyway, along with his house. Fucking idiot. ( edit: he was just crossing a small lake, not racing down a river)

Thought the same, imagine the weight of that gear when it is soaked too. A though I imagine it wasn't regular motox gear.

Caldo 08-04-2015 07:25 AM

looks amazing, great :thumbsup
