There was no emergency when the cops wheeled up at Toshiba L. Smith’s Houston Avenue apartment one evening earlier this week.

But then it seems there never is when they’re sent to her place.

Since early June, Smith, 41, has allegedly dialed 911 about 150 times.

She was arrested Tuesday for improper use of the emergency service.

Bibb County sheriff’s deputies have warned Smith before and told her she could be locked up for making false reports.

On Tuesday evening, Smith called for help with a neighbor in Pendleton Homes, who she claimed was using “a recording device” to “pick on her,” a sheriff’s report said.

Seems like schizophrenia.. Not sure if jail is the right place for her

Good for her.

One of my friends is a 911 operator here in town. I've never called 911 before, but when I call the non emergency number after hours I always get her. It's odd calling the police department and having someone you know pretty well answer the phone.

Cool story.

Had she just stopped at 149 times...she would've got away with it.

It's always the 150th call that puts it over the top.

heads-up, there is no "after hours" for the police non-emergency phone #.

you really think the cops clock out at 5pm and stop answering the phone? :1orglaugh
