Did Pornhub hand over the details to his lawfirm after legal action? Did the Pornhub users’ Internet service providers provide him with their real-life identities? Were alleged pirates’ identities obtained by other less conventional means?

I am surprised the author didn't realize Mind Geek owns content and the tubes.
This is interesting. How were the users tracked down? My guess is, when users upload content partners videos or something like Brazzers videos, Pornhub probably hands the users IP info right over to their sister company or content partner. I don't think the author (and the uploaders) realize that the people that own Pornhub also have companies that own content. Not a good idea to upload full length Brazzers vids on Pornhub.
2. Many of the everyday citizens that upload full length vids are horny and cheap. All a company would have to do is hire a camgirl and message the uploader and say something like "let's skype, All free". And the guy is gonna tell her about all the videos he uploads.
