Fellow Ontarians - inside please

Just curious what those of you here in Ontario think of this new provincial pension plan the libtards are trying to implement within the next few years.

Good, bad...awful?

I've heard it could be upwards of $1,600 annual deductions for employees - to be matched by the employer.

More social engineering by a bunch of fuckwads who couldn't run a taco stand in a Mexican neighbourhood.

incredibleworkethic 08-12-2015 11:14 PM

I already have a pension so I hope this doesn't fuck with it. Your thoughts on existing pensions?

ravo 08-13-2015 02:27 AM

It's pretty obvious what your thoughts are...

Socks 08-13-2015 02:43 AM

Another slush fund it sounds like

Bryan G 08-13-2015 03:51 AM

It's ridiculous.

mopek1 08-13-2015 04:19 AM

I haven't yet looked through this new plan of hers but I will say this;

I am much happier with the decisions she's made and have implemented than her predecessor - whom I despised.

I am also happier with her views and platform than the NDP (left) and Cons (right). Both of whom I felt played politics too much and couldn't be trusted during the last election.

MrBottomTooth 08-13-2015 04:26 AM

What's to say? More taxes. Thanks Wynne you rotten cunt. She hasn't quite killed us yet with the highest electricity rates in North America so she thought she should tax us a little bit more.

If you have an existing pension I believe you can opt out if this. At least I know our unionized workers can.

For me personally it's just $1600 less I have available to put into an rrsp at the end of the year.

BlackCrayon 08-13-2015 06:12 AM

just more money they can take and play with.

Ross 08-13-2015 08:33 AM

It's ridiculous. I can see it being an issue for small businesses, they have announced a roll out plan depending on the size of company. Businesses with 500+ employees it kicks in 2017 but companies smaller than 50 employees its not until 2019. How many businesses with 51-70 employees are going to scale back to buy themselves 2 more years?

EonBlue 08-13-2015 08:34 AM

It's an awful plan and just puts more unnecessary burden on small business. That and the fact that anybody paying into will likely never see it because the Liberals will mishandle it and blow it on pie in the sky and pixie dust. Ontario is the most indebted sub-national jurisdiction in the world. The shit is going to hit the fan and it won't be pretty.

EonBlue 08-13-2015 08:57 AM

I know this thread is about the pension plan but it seems like a good place to post this:

Electricity exports cost Ontario taxpayers $200 million in June

It boggles the mind. :Oh crap

.

MrBottomTooth 08-13-2015 09:14 AM

I don't understand how they got a majority last election. I don't know anybody that supports them. I guess we can thank Toronto.

You can thank public unions. They are the retards that allowed this fucking idiot to be voted back in.

That's exactly what I thought when I first heard it announced.

I think it depends on the type of existing pension - it has to equal what the province is proposing.

Agreed. The libtards will take the money, re-allocate it to pay off one of their many boondoggle fuckup decisions...then announce down the road there's no pension payout.

You sort of answered your question - you can not think positive about libtard plan.

Shame that those anti quality citizen parasites roams in numbers.

I don't think that's possible. The only thing hudak did wrong, other than being kind of a creep, is to be honest about their plan to cut a bunch of public sector jobs. He should have just lied about that then start cutting stuff after he got elected, like Wynne does.

Give the province to the Browns :2 cents:

Hudak didn't inspire any confidence at all to make us believe he was trustworthy.

He came into his campaign talking about cutting 100k jobs and then creating a million ??? So incredibly juvenile as a way to get attention to his campaign. We've already seen that with Harper and are tired of it.

The NDP's 'wow' moment was even worse.

PR_Glen 08-14-2015 06:28 AM

that should help our continuing inflation problem... 20$ bread coming soon!
