Nothing new. Divers mess up all the time at diving events. Don't think I've ever seen an Olympic diving competition where at least 2 divers didn't have a bad dive

I dove competitively for 7 years.

I'm not sure what level of "special" these guy are, but a reverse 2 and 1/2 from the 3 meter board would have anyone here shitting their pants before even getting to the end of the board.

Now I see it wasn't even the Special Olympics. Which I'm guessing even the guy who posted this thread wouldn't qualify for.

A friend of mine has a child who has autism and it's utterly amazing. The kid is anti social and cannot function in any kind of social setting at all, yet at age ten he can design apps for cell phones.

Good for those kids. I can only imagine the challenges those kids face.

Ummm, I was a good athlete and my dives would look worse.

Straight up, anyone here who is not a diver is delusional if they think they could do that dive better.

We'd all hit our heads on the diving board trying and then we'd qualify for the event years later.

I was a track, football and rugby athlete all through highschool and college.

I couldn't dive a fraction as good as those guys.

shame they got a big zero, from all the referees, looks like it is not a special olympics but just two guys jumping in the world championship of swimming that is running at the moment? anyway that zero was expected by the jumpers i think :)

a 305 B on 3m spring board is not that easy. The guy had to much forward momentum on the take off.

OP should be ashamed...the video is funny, yes...making fun of the Special Olympics, not so much.

Every dive I attempt ends in belly flop. Or taint pain. Kudos to them. I was fuckin' impressed!

His approach was good but he had a little to much forward momentum on the take off, makes it next to impossible to finish the rotations.
