Not exactly a world war because Saddam is not going to be fighting outside of his own country.

Who's there to fight against the mighty USA? No-one. So, there will be no WW3 in near future.

Korea could use this as an opportunity to start some real shit. US military would be spread thin if they had to fight Korea and Iraq at the same time while also searching for Osama in caves in Pakistan.

What would happen if the UN would get resolved because of this?

If North Korea decided to fool around believe me, China, Russia and Japan would be there to put a stop to it.

Only this time it would not be diplomatic. It would be suicide for North Korea.

Question, what actually makes a war a world war?? # of countries fighting, or is it # of countries invaded??

How about a military conflict between alliances in such a scale, that all the countries in the world either belong to one of the alliances or are neutral

China, Russia, Japan, Australia, India, South Korea... is that enough?

IF saddam hits israel and they get involved this could be viewd by Muslims as a Christian / Jewish war vs them and could turn into a much bigger conflict ! :ak47:
