a good 3rd party cc processor or merchant?
 

Ive been looking around for a decent cc processor for some webdesign work that I do. I got a couple people who are interested in me doing long term projects and can pay with cc. So I need to find one quick. The 3 ones ive looked at
are Authorize.net, (but dont know which reseller to go with) also
Netbilling and yambo.biz
any suggestions or others you know of?

If you are doing it get paid for design work, get your own merchant account. You are not high risk and you will save a bundle of money. Third party processors charge around 15% with a 10% hold back. Your own merchant account with gateway fees would be around maybe 4%, its a no brainer.

Very good point Tony404.... You then have to set up with a gateway to clear your CCs, if you don't clear them from a terminal in your office. NetBilling has a great system and if needed they could handle your customer service too.
