are you talking about accepting blog's posts as galleries or actual link to blogs (index pages)?
cuz on my account at TheHun i see only thumbs up and yellow pages with submit form so where can i submit blog? |

but posts on blogs are usually comes with all goodies that blog offers so sidebars and sidebars are usually filled with everything what is needed for blog so links, banners, hardlinks etc. and your rules for galleries are very strict (not to many ads or outlinks etc..) here's example of one post from my blog: Gravure Idol Ai Sudo ??? | AV Idol would you accept smth like it? i got there few banners but also toplist of posts, few links to my hardlinkers, tags, links to all other posts etc - ain't it to much to have post listed at TheHun? and i'm considering my blog VERY clean comparing to what people can do with their blogs..

What about popunders? :)

Not bad, but Im sure you can make the ones for thehun a little cleaner :) .. like remove the list of the links at the bottom right of the page..and keep pictures plain jpg, so without that annoying moving thing bottom right of the pics. When people click through to your main blog I don't mind these things, its your page :) |
Ps, if you have other galleries than blogs to submit, please feel free. The waiting list is only a few days after registering and submitting, due to our new webmaster submit area. The 1 gallery per 3-4 days rule is gone, so you can submit as many links as you want (does not mean you get listed more) at once.

you gave me thinking now... if i would like to keep av idols list i would need different sidebar for main site and different for posts to keep it clean for you sir but again.. it could be worthy ;) |

hey JS ;)
i'm working on new custom sidebars specially for sir Hun - just installed plugin "custom sidebars" and i'm slowly removing some stuff from sidebars to make it more acceptable. should be ok after i done. ed.: main page will have all the stuff. posts will be have some items removed (different sidebars, customized - good shit imo). |
just a tip: "custom sidebars" if you're gonna use it to make different sidebars for posts and different for index be careful cuz item are not being copied but moved from one sidebar to another so you actually need to manually clone item to not have it removed from on sidebar - there is clone option but reserved for pro version of plugin - not worthy imo sicne you can manually did the same.

Ughh... You guys. I have been submitting blog galleries to thehun for years with little to no issues. What he is saying is cleanup the sidebar and stupid javascript toys and make it a little more like a gallery. Check trades and outbound links for 404 and dead useless crap. It must be a "blog" with blog things, not a banner farm with your list of sponsors in the blogroll. While these days there is a way to remove sidebars and menus manually in wordpress, not all blogs and blog platforms work the same. Then when you submit the gallery, if it passes the bot check (which is way more relaxed than back in the day) then you are golden. I have had something close to 100% acceptance rate from my submitted blog galleries. Of course I have always kept my blogs clean and free from much of the crap many like to plaster all over the page. Common sense really.

if you referring to my blog as a banner farm - you didn't see much imo.. |
I was offering general advice based off my own experience bud. I didnt even look at your blog. banners are fine, but a banner farm is excessive. I'm beginning to think you folks are looking a bit too deep into it. Like he said submit one and see how it goes. Rules are more lax than ever and I don't thing he really wants to say that publicly in fear of getting every shit blog submitted by every shit banner farm affiliate.
|
understood and thank you. i'm just trying to make sure my post will comply as much as possible if it require to remove some features then i'll work on it.

How often can you submit you blog if you update often?

I am getting this ,and I don't have any kind of popunder:
Femdom Humiliation Party | Femdom Sissy doesn't pass the bot! content: The javascript evaluate function is a high risk. Many people form strings to pop consoles and use the eval-function to execute it. Malware is usually deployed with encoded JavaScript and unpacked using the 'eval' command.... Too many people abused it... Many sites these days try to hide their scripting by 'encoding' it and using the eval-command to decode. Every programmer that would know what to do with somebody else's code knows that if you replace 'eval' with 'document.write' the decoded code will be written to the screen. These 'packers' serve no purpose other than to hide something from bots in my eyes. We therefor can not allow them on galleries on thehun. If you need to include code that is packed it's easy to 'unpack' it and make it work. You will need some minimum programming skills to do this, but if you find the javascript file with the packed code and replace "eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d)" with "document.write(function(p,a,c,k,e,d)" and run the file in your browser you have the unpacked code (essentially already proving this whole packing is utterly unnecessary!). Save that code to a different file and include that in your page instead of the one with the packed code. We will not allow the eval command on thehun, it caused way too many problems. If you have trouble 'unpacking' a source you can contact us, we might be able to help you out from over here |

I have not built galleries or submitted to The Hun since 2003 when I started blogging, but this thread has inspired me to start up again. :thumbsup
I spent some time yesterday working up a Wordpress custom post template so that I could make nice mobile-responsive galleries as a blog post, include a good Hun recip, and pare down the sidebar junk to a functional minimum. And then of course I had to make a gallery; talk about reviving a rusty skill! (Not that I was ever an expert or great at it; I was a rank amateur writing HTML in Notepad last time I did it.) Unfortunately tonight my attempt to register as a Hun submitter has been stymied by an AJAXified "contacting server" rotating status icon that has been rotating unresponsively for the last 15 minutes. In two different browsers. Looks like tonight will not be the night! Oh well, tomorrow is another day. |

No recip is required and never was. But we dont mind a recip. Just check thehun.net to see what gets listed. Rules are simple: what you see is what you get.. no (mobile) redirections, no pop ups, no po unders, no blind links, clean gallery with e decent ration content/advertising |
