DMCA Issue: The rising threat of video hosts like videomega

Has anyone been noticing the rising trend in usage of 3rd party video hosts? The idea behind it is simple: "If the video file is not hosted on our server, we are not in violation of DMCA laws." Loophole!

The biggest offender, by far, is videomega, but there are more of them out there. Here is a small sample: streamin.to, nowvideo, nowvideo, realvid, flashx, videowood, openload, vidup, sendvid, played, vidspot, allmyvideos, and even GOOGLE.

Which sites are using 3rd party video hosts? Many! And every day, there are more clones appearing all over the web. Here are a few:
  • watchxxxfree
  • hqporn.club
  • porn-dig
  • mundoporn
  • sexogratis
  • pornowow
  • kporno
  • adultvideostream
  • best-porn
  • zorritasx
  • sensualhd
  • jizzman
  • pornoteria
  • yourdailypornvideo
  • elreyx
  • werehd
  • freeomovie
  • hdpornpack
  • myvidster
  • xkeezmovies
  • porno4you
  • xtapes
  • adultfreex
  • freepornvideos0
  • godfatherporn.com
  • ero-tik
  • videospornoparty
  • poxxx
  • xvideospanish
  • fulltubeporn
  • pornoespanolonline
  • yourfreeporntube
  • watchthefullvideofree
  • happystreams
  • playporn
  • porn-maki
  • mixhdporn
  • xtheatre
  • pornvideoxo
  • vtrahe
  • pornmovieon
  • lickherz
  • gonzoporn
  • xporpa
  • hd-porn
  • nesaporn
  • videomegaporn
  • thegoodtube
  • pornhardx
  • sexiz
  • fapset
  • letsjerk
  • tubevice
  • hdpornfull
  • etc (I could go on and on)

As you can see, this is incredibly worrying!

If you try to reach out to any of those tube embed sites, nobody will respond. Because technically they don't have to.

What should you do then? You need to reach out to the video host!

How do you find the host? There are several different ways to go about it. In some cases, like with videomega and openload videos, you can right click on the video to grab the source link.

For other video hosts, you will have to use a tool like Chrome's Developer Tools Network tab (CTRL+SHIFT+I), or something like HttpFox for Firefox.

A lot of the video hosts will respond to DMCA notices, but some will not.

Do you have any questions / concerns? Need any more info? I am happy to help. Feel free to reply and I will address your concerns if I can.

Which hosts are not responding to DMCA notices?

xXXtesy10 08-19-2015 10:49 AM

were you guy begging for money months back? is that you wdf?

dmcaMonster 08-19-2015 11:56 AM

Video hosts that do not respond:
  • powvideo[dot]net
  • vimple[dot]ru
  • vidup[dot]me
  • goodvideohost[dot]com

flashx[dot]com has responded to a couple in the past, but ever since changing hosts, they have continued to ignore DMCA requests.

videomega[dot]tv takes forever (months) to respond to requests. They used to remove videos which would result in a 404 error message, but now the videos return a 403 error message. I have noticed some of these videos come back online after a couple of weeks. Naturally, they do not respond to e-mails, and they will not address this concern.

@xXXtesy10, I never asked or begged for money. I am only here to share information on dmca-related issues.

Also, I am not "wdf".

The following hosts are generally very responsive: mega[dot]nz, openload[dot]io, google although they do take a while to respond if you don't use their online form), realvid[dot]net, streamin.to, turbovideos[dot]net, videowood[dot]tv, vidspot[dot]net, zettahost[dot]tv

How about big tubes like pornhub. Which are the easiest (and hardest) to cooperate with?

There's a search function, I am sure a "DMCA Monster" knows how to use one of those. :321GFY

Hmm, I suppose. I guess I just don't really care enough to bother.

Carry on.

US-based tubes are the easiest to deal with, since they are bound by DMCA laws. A lot of European tubes will also comply.

Tubes with hosts that are based in certain Asian countries (Vietnam, Phillippines, China) can be difficult if not impossible to deal with. Ukraine, Czech Republic, and even Russia can be a pain. I also find that hosts in Switzerland and Iceland will wipe their ass with your DMCA notices.

There are many forums on BlackHatWorld that discuss which servers are ideal to avoid DMCA hassles.

Are there any specific tubes you are concerned about? Have you had any trouble dealing with any sites?

Posted twice. My bad.
