How to grow Tumblr followers
Bots don't interact with your feed like real people do, so my advice would be not to buy any as you will simply be wasting money. I've seen accounts with 20k+ followers get less than 1 retweet per week, I've no idea who they think they are fooling apart from themselves. It takes time to build up followers, but the benefits (income/exposure) far outweigh having a fake high follower count simply to look cool or massage ones ego.
Well, say you buy 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 followers, that's simply 1000s of blind eyes looking at nothing, forever. But if you make a simple plan, and spend a week building it up the right way, and even if you only got 1 new real human follower a day, that's 700% more real eyeballs on your stuff for free. More importantly, the new eyeballs are actually interested in your stuff enough to follow your Twitter/Tumblr with the potential to make real sales/income/retweets/reblogs exponentially. Then in Week 2 you refine what you learned from Week 1 and rinse and repeat. The same in Week 3, etc, etc, etc. At the end of the 1st month you write down your stats, and then try and increase it for the 2nd month.
The easiest way to do all this is to simply be..... SOCIAL. I know! Who'd of thunk it? But you'd be surprised, or probably not actually with knowing how adult 'webmasters' are, by the amount of people that think Social Media is a "fire & forget" solution. Without interaction, your Twitter and Tumblr are simply glorified RSS feeds, and who'd find those interesting enough to follow? Exactly. And there are really only 2 rules of interacting, don't be an asshat, and don't whine/beg. Simple as that. So even spending just 1hr a day interacting by chatting, answering questions, retweeting/reblogging relevant content, replying to tweets/leaving blog comments, etc, and you will see HUGE benefits. And best of all, this will cost you exactly $0.00, just some time out of your day.
