In NYC it's not just the cost of the space. Any place that sells a quart of milk within 5 city blocks of that location charges $10.00 for it... You pay for the place AND your cost of living goes up 5000%

Still, not bad for a guy who kicks a ball for a living.

Your is in the house not in prime downtown location. Nothing fancy to have bigger bedroom than this in some house somewhere.

One of those pics looks like the inside of a hotel room. The designer or whoever made those looks should be shot. First pic is OK.

5th ave across the street from central park is a prime location, while technically being midtown.

belonged to Trump's partner, in Trump Tower, Ronaldo probably didn't pay that much. The publicity of one of the biggest sports stars spending an obscene amount of money on the apartment doesn't hurt business.

He just signed a contract for 5 years that will pay him just over $200 million. That doesn't count the millions in endorsements he gets.

Alright maybe someone can help explain this all to me... what the fuck is with the prices in New York? I can readily admit I personally don't like city life but then again, I don't get what is there to like? Overcrowded, overpriced, shitty weather, noise pollution, crime, total rat race everywhere, the whole place smells like urine since the sewer system runs under the city. People living on top of each other like chicken coups, but oh hey, they can proudly declare 'I live in new york' like anyone gives a fuck. Okay so there are plenty of nice restaurants and museums and 'culture'... whatever, just go visit then. If you're not working on Wall Street or somewhere in NY that requires you to be there, why the fuck would you live there?

Now on to the real estate... that condo there is one tiny ugly shithole, and 18.5 million USD? GTFO. It's 230 square meters for heaven's sake... Any idea what kind of palatial mansion someone can buy in Miami or even Southern California which are HIGHLY desireable places to live, and we're talking 10 months or more of sunshine, not overcrowded (for certain parts), close to the beach and reasonable cost of living. We're talking circular driveway, fountains, high ceilings, view of the water, minimum 1000 square meters of house. That bedroom picture is taken at an angle to make it look more spacious then it is, that looks like a fuckin closet. 18.5 million dollars, and I'm not knocking Ronaldo since that whole city is full of overpriced, tiny little shitholes I wouldn't spend a week in.

I guess it's all relative.
