a hard-on and a go-pro..

Just kidding but not so far from the truth. I'm new posting here although I have been around for a while. I want to get into the content producing business. I know its a hard game now, not like it used to be. But, I guess, I still want to give it a go. I've noticed that this community helps even some of the noobs out so I'll give it a try.

Currently, my biggest problem is finding reliable sources of talent. I'm 2hrs drive from Pittsburgh, DC and Baltimore and so that means I'm on the East Coast. Maybe the worst place in the world to shoot content?

I'm new with no work to show and I don't know anybody in this game. I doubt a talent agency will give me the time of day (if there are any around here). Currently I've been hitting up strippers and even some escorts with a pretty low hit rate. Any advice on how to find talent in my position...living on the East Coast?

I'm trying to make a serious run at this business so any help would be wonderful.-Thanks!!

1) make 9 more posts, so you can email in PM - i think you need 10 posts - so go to other posts and greet yourself

2) advertise for models - i'm sure there are lots of people in Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and DC willing to take their clothes off for money

3) you can also try Adult Friend Finder and similar sites (be nice and friendly)

Craigslist talent gig listings in some cities (Phoenix for example) are full of people wanting to hire models for adult work. Other CL communities seem to have busybodies who get any ad even mentioning "nude" pulled, so that may or not be an option in your area.

From fishing around and doing some research, I thought craigslist was a really bad option. Lot's of bad talent.

I'm not far from you and kind of in the same boat. I have a studio (for non-adult related videos) and a ton of experience with cinematography, editing and color correction. I have some ideas, but if you want to link up let me know and maybe we can help each other out.

I would love to work with you and hear some of your ideas. e-mail me @ [email protected]
