posting in the biz section is well and good but how am i gonna know they know their shit?
rather have some of you guys recommend someone or a company for my next project
a skilled programmer (main stream project)

How far down the track are you ? CodeIgniter is an outdated framework. I would never recommend it for a new project. Ever.
