TheHun - Adobe Muse pages problem
Hello.
I got question about adding galleries made by Adobe Muse to thehun.net. Is there a posibility to create galery with AM that are not rejectet by boot of thehun? Mabye You can help me to find a other way to create galeries that follow the hun rules? I'm not a programer so i'm looking for simple tools. Is instapage allow thehun rules? Chris |

Why are they being rejected?

Reasons
The boot is rejecting them by following reason:
"site doesn't pass the bot! content: You have javascript on your page to blur or focus content, we can not allow this." I'm not a programer so i'm using simpe tool as Adobe Muse to create galeries. Even the simplest sites without widgets, slideshows etc. are beein rejectet. I also asked thehun owner about the problem and i got this answer: "The Adobe Muse is indeed a problem, but since you don't seem to use any of it's functionality at the moment, can't that simply be deleted from the gallery altogether? Another problem is this: <script type="text/javascript"> gfy do not allows me to post lin boeouse a'm new in here </script> This is a javascript trick to make sure protocols match what you include. If you load a secure page all includes should be secure as well, mixed pages are not considered secure. But you're not loading the gallery over a secure server anyway, so this can be replaced by: gfy do not allows me to post lin boeouse a'm new in here And the above trick can also be done without javascript using gfy do not allows me to post lin boeouse a'm new in here If you leave out the protocol from an include it will copy the protocol from the calling page A bigger problem I see is the redirect in there. You're redirecting phones and tablets to an alternative page, redirects are not allowed though. The problem is that the bot checks the submitted page. If there is a conditional redirect in there it will assume there can be versions it doesn't pre-check. Onthis for example you redirect mobile traffic to a URL with an extra space. That causes the link to go to your 404, basically making it a blind link on thehun for mobile and tablet users? That's another problem on this gallery. Your 404 is just a commercial page with no indication of an error. If you forget to upload a link (or accidentally have an extra space in a URL, which happened on this very submission, so it happens, we see it all the time) people are blindly linked to this page. An ad on a 404 is no problem, but it should be an error page, that at the very least returns a 404 in the header (note: google will severely hurt your ranking for this as well, since every random page on your server that doesn?t exist goes to the same page you get penalized for duplicate content, a 404 would tell google it's an error which would improve your rankings!) " So there is a lot of problem with Adobe Muse i guess. How can I solve this. Mabye someone can help me with choice of another tool that alows me to create sites following TheHun rules. But please remember i'm not a programer and don't know the code. regards Chris |

there are various image viewers which can generate simple html galleries from photos in a folder, use some of those instead.
besides from what i see adobe muse is totally wrong tool to use for galleries. |

try acdsee or thumbsplus
or if you would like to keep it adobe, lightroom has that option too. |
Used to use Arles back when I was submitting galleries. Looks like it's free now.
