Effective methods of promoting live cam sites

Lets say I want to promote live cam sites. What would be the most standard ways of doing this, and the methods?

- seo / Wordpress blogs
- social media (like Twitter, maybe Facebook too)
- links to live cams on tubes and tgp sites (this gets added to most of them by default, anyway)

I was talking to somebody who is familiar with this, and the person told me seo. So I make a blog, and write about live cams? How would something like this work, and how to make something valuable and attractive to people who come to these sites, long term?

Use your noodle.

tip: Maybe the most standard way of doing things is saturated and therefore creativity is key

The search engine traffic is always the best.

I know that, but overall, as far as xxx sites, and everything else, it is not stable, and things change very fast. You can have that #1 (or 2-3) spot for a good keyword or a set of keywords for a certain period of time, and keep making good money (assuming you have a good product to sell, good landing page, everything done correctly there), and it can go down and stay there for a long time, overnight, and you are not making this money. So the traffic from search is good, but it is not easy to get and keep, especially if it is making money. I've been planning to focus / specialize in seo 100% (all adult sites), but I think that programming can be better than this. It is more stable, and it is obviously profitable too, and I would say not as hard as it can seem, even though I will be working on researching and learning this, still.

I've been asking around about pricing of a php program that I would like to have, and people wanted to charge like $8,000 for this, so it is a good and solid area of specialization in this, I would say. Xxx sites have opinion of being profitable, and it seems like a very profitable niche, based on what it was like 10 years ago, but making xxx sites is not hard, and for this reason it is hard to make money. Anybody can get a tube script, or a tgp script and make websites. Some people will be better then other, there is people who work on it for 10+ years, so they are better and more experienced, but in general, it is not hard, most of the people can do it. I think that people need to go in the direction of something like programming, in order to put themselves above others, and be financially successful, long term. If you know programming, and you do good, you can hire like three people for this money, and they will be making these websites for you (like get the script, import videos, add titles -> this part is not hard -> so no $$$, thats ow I would expect to see it, these days). Again, seo is good but it is a very moving target, and things change very fast (you obviously make all your sites seo friendly, and keep track of how things change, but I am not sure if I would want to specialize in this, programming seems to be a better choice).

As a cam program I can tell the affiliates doing most signups are fishing guys in other chats and cam sites in various blach hat, white hat, rainbow hat, ways. Plus, the models themselves signed in as affiliates are stealing whale guys from a site into another to double their % earnings :)

A programmed affiliate site with its own content based on a sponsor site's XML or API.
  • You need to create content with some added value that is yours and unique to your own website.
  • You want your sponsor content to be updated dynamically. You need to add your own added value content to get the SEO.
The other way is to push your own traffic from ads and network traffic to your affiliate webcam site.

Anyway that you do it most sites are paying affiliates 2/3 to 3/4 of the gross profits -- that is not a bad deal with little risk on your part.
