I had 2 nectarine trees (planted as a pair, pollinator optimum for more fruit production) die due to how cold it was this past winter. Apple and cherry trees are fine. Now have to buy nectarines from farmers market :(

I wonder where the climate is so rough so that apple trees would die :)
Nectarines is another story.

There has been posts that "no one dislikes pizza" or "no one dislikes a sandwich". Can we say the same about these fruits?
Maybe even at the higher level compared to sandwich and pizza? :)

My grandmother had a peach tree, and I've always loved peaches. I have am growing a peach tree myself in my backyard, and for the first time we have little tiny peaches.

These are actually amazing. I forget which country i was eating them in.

We get a lot of them in Spain...

I always considered them second grade peaches. No way I choose that instead of a regular peach :)
