95% chance that after you beat him up (or he beats you up) that she would go right back to him anyway. There was this one girl in high school who would constantly get abused by her BF and when she cried for help everyone would just ignore here because they knew that intervening would be pointless.

However if I felt that this was a random attack and not a BF/GF then I would certainly do something.

I knew a woman that was in an abusive relationship and I asked her why she keeps going back. She explained to me that she got to the point where she believed that the beatings showed that he cared.

The result of this experiment is really sad...I think it will be the same in my country :(

Actually that's a very tricky situation. If the girl was attacked by a stranger - there is no problem to smash his head with a stone, but if he is her boyfriend or a husband... Even a police here doesn't want to be involved into domestic quarrel. When I was a kid, I was living near the local police station, and I saw 100's times when wives come there to literally tear into the pieces those police officers who arrested their husbands after their own requests to do that... We have a saying here: "a husband and wife is one of Satan".

No, I would not. Having no idea what prompted the conflict the most I would do is call 911 to report a altercation and give the location.

Hopefully he would have killed her by that time and then the police would arrive just in time to shoot him.

My ex-wife was a psychologist and for 2+ years worked with abused women. Over that time she had several of her patients hospitalized, and two murdered after they were attacked by their S.O.
